brush pick up – spring 2026
The next Village brush pick up will be the week of April 13th. Please call Sue at Cuba Township the week prior – (the deadline is April 10 th , 2026) at the Road District and supply your name, address and phone number if you have brush ready for pick up. Cuba Township 847-381-7793. Address: 28160 W. Cuba Road, Barrington.
The guidelines are as follows:
- The diameter of branches needs to be less than 8”
- The pile should be neatly stacked
- No wider than 10’ (looking at it from the street), 4’ high, and 5’ deep
- No root balls, stumps, decorative grasses, leaves or yard waste
- If the brush pile exceeds this guideline, the remaining branches WILL NOT be picked up!
- One pile per household

Grassmere, Haverton, and Oaksbury (GHO) Drainage Improvements Project: For many years, the Village has experienced flooding on Haverton Way, IL 59, Grassmere Farms, and in the Oaksbury Subdivisions during heavy rain events. The updated project status is available on our website.

Cuba Township Recycling/Shredding Event - Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Cuba Township Road District, 28160 W. Cuba Road, Barrington, IL 60010.
