Albert Pino
Trustee Albert Pino has been married to his wife Donna and they have two sons, Bert & Alex, and a daughter, Ericka, all who either are or were enrolled in Barrington School District 220.
Trustee Pino graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Education (1970) and a Juris Doctor degree from John Marshall Law School (1976). Trustee Pino maintains a private practice locally since 1987. He serves as a Special Assistant Attorney General for State of Illinois in defense of workers compensation cases (13 years). He was appointed Lake County mediator for Civil Disputes in 2001. He was recently re-elected for a second term in the April 2009 election. Trustee Pino will oversee the Village's Roads, Utilities and Stormwater Managment programs.
Edmund P. "Pete" Boland
Trustee Pete Boland was elected to the Board in the April 17, 2007 Consolidated Election. Trustee Boland previously served as Trustee from 1985 to 1993, and then again from 1995 to 2001. Trustee Boland will oversee the Village's Police Fire and Public Safety programs.
Ginger Das Gupta
Trustee Ginger (Pennington) Das Gupta was elected to the Board in April of 2009, after having served on the Village's Zoning Board of Appeals. She and her husband, Neil, have resided in the Biltmore neighborhood since August of 2004. Dr. Das Gupta graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Knox College (1997) and received M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Northwestern University in Social Psychology (2002). Ginger was on the faculty of the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (Chicago Booth), where apart from her teaching duties she conducted research in the areas of Social and Consumer Psychology before leaving in 2007 to devote additional time to her young family-daughter Olivia and son Drew. Her research in the areas of time pressure, consumer judgements and motivation has appeared in both marketing and psychology journals, as well as in articles by such outlets as ABC news. Trustee Das Gupta will serve as the Trustee Liaison to the Parks and Recreation Commission.
Lawrence Jay Weiner
Lawrence "Lawre" Weiner Lawre has been a resident of North Barrington since 1972. He was a founder and former director of the Buehler YMCA, and has been inducted into the Barrington Senior Hall of Fame. He was a former Trustee for North Barrington and served on its Plan Commission. Lawre is currently also an elected Trustee and former Treasurer of the Barrington Area Library Board. He practices law in a Chicago law firm specializing in management employment and labor law, and represents many municipalities and other units of local government. He is a member of the Biltmore Country Club, and together with Terri Tepper, his loving wife for 43 years, has four granddaughters. Trustee Weiner will serve as the Trustee Liaison to the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Mark Kolar
Mark Kolar, his wife Mary and their three daughters have lived in Biltmore since 1980. Mark has been very active in the community and has served as Chairman of the Plan Commission for the Village and was recently a member of the Plan Commission before being elected as a Village Trustee. He has also served on the adult board for "New Generations" a local teen organization affiliated with Barrington High School. A Realtor for the past 31 years, Mark is a past President of the Barrington Area Association of Realtors, Past Vice President of the Multiple Listing Service of Northern Illinois and has served on the Professional Standards Committee for the Board of Realtors. Trustee Kolar will serve as the Trustee Liaison to the Plan Commission.
Camille Koertner
Trustee Camille Koertner moved to North Barrington in 1999 with her husband Bill and two children from Springfield, Illinois where she served as an elected Board of Education member of District #5. Active in our community, she served on the Village Plan Commission from 2005 - 2008 when she was appointed to fill an unexpired Trustee position. She was elected to a 4-year term in the April, 2009 Election.
A graduate of Northwestern University and University of Illinois, Trustee Koertner is retired. She will oversee the Environmental and Health Commission and serve as the North Barrington liaison to the Flint Creek Watershed Partnership and as an appointed Director to the Board of SWALCO.
